The founder and Promoter, Mr. Nitin C. Mehta, is a Science Graduate with Business Management Certification envisioning the future of printing Industry, promoted a unit "Vasant Colour and Chemicals" to manufacture printing inks in 1974.

In 1984, a second group company "Hi-Shine Inks Private Limited" was floated with a vision of diversification into "inks" for Writing Instruments Industry.

Dynamism of Mr. Nitin C. Mehta led the company to win several awards for outstanding achievement in the field of writing instruments industry.

The company has won the prestigious export award since 1998.

Mr. Mehta is awarded with INDIAN ACHIEVERS AWARD FOR INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT.

Mr. Mehta has received twice award in Vibrant Gujarat Summit held by the Government of Gujarat.
